now onto the professional certification.

i made a new ep, it's pretty cool.

it's called Radiant, it's out on all big streaming services, as well as Soundcloud and Bandcamp because why not.

I actually mixed it loud this time (basically throwing a loud preset I made in maximus on the master bus)

in other news, i checked distrokid recently, and i made about $5 from the time I started using it to now. spotify still pays like ass per stream, it's now in third place behind Apple Music, and funny enough, ads on youtube, which beats apple music by like a few cents, it's hilarious. gotta love streaming services not paying artists fairly at all.

life stuff is going well, i'm taking a no tools certification course so I can make that eggman forklift certified meme but replace the forklift with no tools. I still think fl is better, paying a subscription just to get a daw is stupid imo, especially one that is clunky as hell, and has crashed on me numerous times so far, it's insane. cross platform my ass, fix your shit avid. please find a way to not make half of your windows look like they came from windows vista.

that's it, that's all I got. i'll be back in a few months to hopefully be able to make that certification joke.

wow, it's 2023.

I'm still making music, however I have posted a lot less of my stuff here. At some point in time I'll get around to it and I'll post something here when I've done that.

Until then, you can find my music on all major streaming platforms, I released a new album last month. It's pretty cool, go check it out.

I've recently took a good look at my desk and I realized something funny. I have a lot of gear.

It's funny to look back and think that all I started with was a pair of headphones, a laptop, and a mouse. I honestly never thought that I would get to the point of having a mini studio in my room.

I still use the same mouse to this day.

I also looked back at the hot garbage I made when I started doing this whole shtick almost 5 years ago, it's fun to look back and laugh at my old self thinking the stuff I made was good.

I'm also performing live now, it's heaps fun.

Heyo, I posted an Album.

Go Outside (The Album) is one of the largest projects I've released so far, and it's one of my personal favorites. The album is a collection of tracks that I've released before that I think deserve a second chance at sounding good. So I took some of the best tracks since the album FlexFive, spruced them up so they sounded good, and also compiled some new tracks and a bunch of old project files that were lingering around, completed them, and put them all together in one package.

As of right now, I don't plan on publishing the whole affair to Newgrounds just yet, I still need to release it on the other platforms I use, but if you want to take a good listen to it, the whole thing is up on Soundcloud, and should be out on Spotify and other major streaming platforms.

So apparently one of my tracks managed to get frontpaged.

I mean it's a good track that I'm proud of, so I can't really complain about that.

For those of you who are new here, I'm Horizon95, a Music Producer, Sound Designer, and fellow synth enjoyer. Despite not being as active here as I am on other platforms, I do check in from time to time. Haven't done one of these in a year, so I might as well update you guys as to what I'm doing.

Right now, I'm working on some ideas for a new track, expect that to take about a month or two until my next release. I'm also working on a preset bank for the open source synth Helm, as well as whipping up some patches for Vital.

I try to check in here every now and then, but I'm mostly busy so I'm not as active here as I am on other streaming platforms I use.
